Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 camera
The 16X-optical-zoom Panasonic Lumix ZS10 is the touchscreen-equipped successor to last year’s Lumix DMC-ZS8. The sum of the DMC-ZS10′s parts is a fast-focusing, versatile pocket megazoom with high marks for zoom range, scene modes, 3D still shooting, and in-camera extras. But like many Panasonic cameras, this one presents users with an Auto mode that produces somewhat underexposed images.
Mac Gems: Arrange 1.3.2
Among my favorite Gems are tools for managing windows, because they increase my productivity with minimal effort. Although you can move and resize windows using OS X’s built-in tools, these Gems make it easier or more convenient to arrange windows on your screen—for example, to position two Finder windows side-by-side for easier file management, or to move a word-processor window to your favorite location. (I find these utilities to be especially useful when using a trackpad, which, because it’s less precise than a mouse or trackball, makes such actions a bit of a hassle.) I’ve recently reviewed Moom and Divvy , and I’ve previously covered Cinch , TwoUp and SizeUp , MercuryMover , Zooom , MondoMouse , and Fiwi .

Review: Ecogear Black Rhino II laptop backpack
I’ve always tried to be environmentally conscious, even when doing so has gotten in the way of convenience: I avoid Styrofoam cups like the plague; I separate my biodegradable trash from my normal trash; I try not to leave the water on when I brush my teeth—I even avoid showering from time to time to save water. (I’m just kidding about the last one.) So you’d think I would love Ecogear’s environmentally friendly Black Rhino II backpack ($60)

Luxor HD and Luxor: Amun Rising HD for IOS
Fans of marble-bashing games have plenty of options on the iPhone and iPod touch, but for my money, you can’t go wrong with Luxor and its ancient Egyptian spin on things. Since Luxor’s initial smash on the App Store, developer MumboJumbo has rolled out iPad versions of the game—- Luxor HD late last year and Luxor: Amun Rising HD just last month. The iPad iterations faithfully recreate the gameplay experience of the iPhone game–and that’s a good thing.
